Hold-Ups
Over 100 hold-ups, most of them from Ballerina, with Black Secret and Gabriella alongside. Lace tops with silicone grip bands keep them in place without a suspender belt, and the colours run from black, skin and white to ivory, grey and red.
Hold-ups suit anyone who wants stockings without the belt, under a dress, skirt or shorts. Check the top band against your thigh, since one that is too tight leaves a mark and one that is too loose slips. Because hold-ups are sealed for hygiene, an opened pack cannot be returned, so settle on the size before you open it.
What is the difference between hold-ups and stockings?
Hold-ups have a silicone grip band at the top and stay up on their own. Stockings have no grip band, so they need a suspender belt. We stock both styles.
Will hold-ups stay up?
That depends on a good fit at the thigh. Choose your size from hip and height, as Ballerina and Gabriella chart them, and pick a band that sits snugly without digging in.
Do you have hold-ups in larger sizes?
Yes. Several are made in XL and XXL, and Gabriella's 5/6 is XL/XXL. The listing shows the range for each style.
