1. Who controls your data

LuxiDoo is a trading name of ALBARED LTD, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17282982, registered office 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ.

ALBARED LTD is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. That means we decide what is collected and why, and we are accountable for it.

Contact: info@luxidoo.com

2. What we collect

When you place an order: your name, email address, delivery and billing address, phone number if you give one, and the contents and value of your order.

When you create an account: the above, plus your login details and any sizes or preferences you save.

When you subscribe to our emails: your email address and the fact that you consented, along with the date and the form you used.

When you contact us: whatever you include in your message, and our reply.

Automatically as you browse: your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view and how you reached us. This comes from cookies and similar technologies — see section 6.

We never see your card number. Payments are handled by Shopify Payments, PayPal, Shop Pay, Google Pay and Klarna. They send us confirmation that a payment succeeded and the last four digits — nothing more.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

What we do Why Legal basis
Take and deliver your order, handle returns To perform our contract with you Contract
Keep sales and tax records HMRC requires it Legal obligation
Send marketing emails You asked to receive them Consent
Answer your questions To run the shop properly Legitimate interests
Prevent fraud and secure the site To protect you and us Legitimate interests

You can withdraw consent to marketing at any time — every email has an unsubscribe link, and it takes effect immediately. Withdrawing it does not affect anything we sent before.

4. Who we share it with

Only those who need it to get your order to you:

  • Shopify — hosts this store and processes orders on our behalf
  • Our payment providers — process your payment
  • Our supplier and carrier — receive your delivery address to pack and deliver your parcel
  • Our email provider — sends order confirmations and, if you subscribed, marketing
  • HMRC and other authorities — where the law requires it

Each acts under contract and may use your information only for the purpose we set. We do not sell your personal information, and we never will.

5. How long we keep it

Order and payment records: six years from the end of the company financial year they relate to, or longer where the law requires it — for example while an HMRC enquiry is open, or where a transaction spans more than one accounting period. This is a requirement of UK company and tax law, not a choice.

Account details: while your account is open. Close it and we delete what we are not legally required to keep.

Marketing subscriptions: until you unsubscribe, then we keep a minimal record that you opted out, so we do not email you again by mistake.

Emails to us: two years after the matter is closed.

6. Cookies

Essential cookies keep your basket working, keep you signed in and keep checkout secure. They cannot be switched off and need no consent.

Analytics and marketing cookies — including any Meta or TikTok pixel we use to measure our advertising — are only set after you agree through the banner shown on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer. Declining costs you nothing: the shop works exactly the same.

7. Where your data goes

Our providers may process your information outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision — the safeguards UK law requires.

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access a copy of what we hold, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent to marketing.

Email info@luxidoo.com. We reply within one month, free of charge. We may ask you to confirm your identity first — only to be sure we are not handing your data to someone else.

9. Children

This shop is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their details, email us and we will delete them.

10. Complaints

Tell us first — email info@luxidoo.com and we will look into it properly.

If you are still unhappy, you have the right to complain to the UK regulator:
