Peignoirs
Peignoirs: the dressing gown's more decorative cousin. The word is French for a light robe worn while brushing one's hair — and that is still the idea: a short satin or lace robe for the bedroom rather than the bathroom, usually tied at the waist and often sold as a set with matching underwear.
