Margot is a retro-styled two-piece in black cotton, with kimono-style sleeves rolled at the cuff and black floral lace along the front edges of the top. The bottoms finish in lace cuffs and have a drawstring waist, jogging-bottom style, so the set is more relaxed than it first looks. Black is the one to reach for on the nights comfort comes first.
Fabric and feel
Cotton that is pleasant to the touch, with 5% elastane for a little stretch. The top has a ruffle effect where the hem is rolled and a crinkled finish around the waistband, and the back is plain apart from a thick lace waistband. The bottoms are all cotton, with floral lace at the cuffs and across the front near the waistband. Margot comes in a Beauty Night box with a picture of the set on it, marked with the Beauty Night Fashion hologram.
Fit and sizing
Sold in S/M (UK 8–12) and L/XL (UK 12–16). The sleeves are kimono-style with a rolled cuff, and a small tie sits inside the top. The waistband of the bottoms has some stretch but is not elasticated, and the drawstring lets you set the fit.
Care
Machine wash at 40°C on a gentle cycle, turning the set inside out to protect the lace. Do not tumble dry; reshape while damp, dry flat and iron on the reverse at a low setting. Keep away from fire.
